WELCOME TO THE "DR. JIM TALK SHOW" WEB SITE

The date was October 14, 2006. I had been praying for many months that God would grant me the privilege of hosting my own "radio talk show." Little did I realize that God would answer my prayer in the manner and time in which He did so.

In the past, I have been privileged to host and teach on three separate radio stations, not simultaneously, but on separate intervals as the Lord opened the doors of opportunity.

I have also been privileged to host and teach on a weekly one hour television program.

On March 1, 2006, the Lord opened the door to a one hour, daily Monday through Friday, radio ministry over Victory 1530AM located in Jacksonville, Arkansas. Its transmitter is located in England, Arkansas. This radio station is on the air from sunup until sundown as regulated by the FCC. It also streams to the internet over www.victory1530.com twenty-four hours daily.

On August 14, 2006, I changed the format of this program from a one hour program to a thirty minute program airing twice daily, 9:30 AM and again at 1:30 PM. I was then led to use both Wednesday programs as a "call-in" program.

Since January 30, 2007, Rev. Michael Eubanks and I have co-hosted a daily program during which we interact on the subject of the day -- generally a Bible doctrine of choice. Starting on Monday, September 18, 2006, God opened another door for radio ministry over the Southern Gospel station KMTL, 760AM on the radio dial. This program aired Monday through Friday, 11:30 - 12:00 noon. This program also was accessed in three ways: "live" radio, "live" internet audio, and "live" internet video. You can review this on www.brettell.org/kmtltalk.htm. As of March 14, 2008, I am no longer broadcasting on this station.

On March 3, 2008, I began to broadcast "Rightly Dividing the Word of Truth" (RDWT) on station KAAY 1090 AM, a 50,000 watt station located in Little Rock, Arkansas. This station airs a pre-recorded program at 6:30 PM (CST), Monday through Friday. It also simultaneously streams the audio to the internet over www.1090kaay.com

My prayer to God is that He will permit a worldwide listening audience from every time zone around the world.
